Alexis Strum is a TV actress (BBC, BBC3, ITV, SKY), writer, Twitch streamer, podcaster (The Funny HaHa Survival Guide) and host. She writes about her experiences as a single parent for the likes of Metro, Selfish Mother and Gingerbread and as a domestic abuse survivor, she campaigns and fundraises for Women's Aid and is part of several lived experience steering groups for AVA. She can be booked for public speaking events or to host your podcast.
A little known fact is that Alexis used to be an almost popstar, signed to Universal and Warner Records. She was also a successful songwriter, penning hits for Kylie Minogue and Rachel Stevens, as well as writing soundtracks for ‘The Inbetweeners’ and MTV’s ‘Teen Wolf’. Her music and comedy videos have been viewed over 500k times across her various YouTube channels and she has written comedy content for Fresh One and Shed Productions, as well as online sketches for Hat Trick.
Alexis has also performed stand-up to great acclaim: Finalist in Colchester New Comedian Of The Year and Semi-Finalist in Leicester Square New Comedian Of The Year.
