Emma Jenkings discovered mediation during her law degree and was fascinated by the potential for turning a difficult dispute into a constructive conversation. Emma then worked for the Ministry of Justice at the Employment Tribunal for a number of years.
After seeing the stress, and the financial and emotional toll that being involved in a dispute took on individuals - employees and employers - Emma decided to train as a workplace and employment mediator.
After completing her qualifications, Emma set up her business, Mosaic Mediation, in 2016. Since then, Emma has facilitated dispute resolution for a number of different organisations and types of situations, including the NHS, engineering companies, council offices, just to name a few!
Emma is also a trained conflict coach and provides training to organisations in communication skills, difficult conversations, managing different working styles, conflict prevention and conflict resolution skills. She has created a number of e-learning courses and resources on assertive communication, leadership skills, the art of an apology and giving constructive feedback.
Emma writes regular articles for her own website, as a guest expert for other blogs and for magazines and newspapers, and is also an experienced speaker and open to interviews.
