Prior to joining Sibylline, John worked at the London School of Economics (LSE) where he consulted policymakers and businesses in London, and Southeast Asian capitals, on geopolitical, socioeconomic and security affairs across Asia-Pacific. John's professional background also includes working with the Irish government on peace and security affairs at the United Nations, in addition to consulting businesses and civil society groups on human rights issues. In a previous life he worked as radio producer and researcher for an Indie Rock radio station in Dublin.
He has been analysing and tracking geopolitical and security risks associated with the Covid-19 pandemic from the moment it started and can provide unbiased and evidenced comment and background.
He is particularly passionate and able to provide insight into issues that affect NGOs, social risks to business and human rights.
