Miss Lubna Khan-Salim MBBS, BSc (Hons), MRCS Miss Lubna Khan-Salim is a Yorkshire based surgeon who trained and practiced in plastic surgery before moving into cosmetic aesthetics.  Undertaking rigorous training in specialist posts including internal medicine, burns, microsurgery, hand surgery, skin cancer and surgical dermatology during her time in the NHS, she is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. With a passion for wellness and preventative health and combining the precision and accuracy of a surgical background, Lubna has developed a truly holistic approach to beauty and aesthetics and firmly believes true beauty comes from within and preserving our individual beauty is the way forwards. ‘I believe strongly that healthy skin is a reflection of a healthy body within, I love the approach of functional medicine, where lifestyle, exercise, diet and evidence based medical approaches are all used and combined to support a healthy body, so I apply this approach to get the best possible skin.’ Known for natural and subtle looking results, she places a great emphasis on a holistic approach, seeing the face as a whole and trying to achieve balance.  “Done in the right way, subtle tweaks and enhancements can make a world of difference to someone’s sense of wellbeing and confidence.” With her gentle and understanding manner, Lubna puts her clients wellbeing first. Treatments range from bespoke medical grade facials, cosmeceutical skincare, advanced nutritional programme, cosmetic injectable treatments and energy-based devices. The wellbeing shop introduces complementary wellbeing products to create self-care rituals in the comfort of your own home. She sees clients in her Yorkshire based clinic The Nook, a discrete, calm and welcoming environment, “a place for you to be you, and to love you.”
