Melanie Sainsbury, Veterinary Education Manager at Natures Menu, is available to provide insight and commentary on anything veterinary. From the latest advice on health and nutrition to helping with more challenging pets, Melanie is incredibly knowledgeable and a leading expert within the field.
With over 15 years’ experience working within veterinary practices, Melanie now works for raw pet food specialist, Natures Menu and helps to promote responsible raw feeding in the UK and across Europe.
Having had a passion for animals from a young age, Melanie left school at the age of 16 to study animal care and canine behaviour at college, before qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse in 2003. She secured her first job at 18 at her local veterinary practice and worked at other practices, before her current role in 2014.
In her spare time, Melanie enjoys walking her dogs, Herbie and Seth, and camping in her classic VW camper van with her husband. She has various other animals at home including chickens, rabbits and quails.
