Before joining Protection Group International as the Director of Cyber Operations and Training, Meredith spent seven years as the Operations Director within DXC Technology’s largest UK public sector account, supplying critical secure IT infrastructure solutions and digital transformation services to UK Government clients. She was responsible for account resourcing, staff delivery, client engagement and security governance and compliance for over 400 people delivering capability into in the UK intelligence and security sector, establishing a reputation for excellence in the management of technical staff and their work. Before moving to the UK in 2013, Meredith led a highly successful career with the Australian Signals Directorate, Australia’s signals intelligence, cyber and security agency. Meredith was ASD’s first Director for Cyber Policy and Influence, where she helped to drive major changes across Australia’s national cyber security policy and capability. This included the 2009 release of ASD’s “Strategies to Mitigate Targeted Cyber Intrusions”, widely recognised as influential in the formulation of subsequent UK cyber policy in this area. Meredith concluded her career at ASD as the Senior Australian Liaison Officer to GCHQ, managing Australia’s most critical international security and intelligence partnership. Meredith has a PhD in International Relations from the Australian National University and degrees in criminal law and international relations from the University of Kobe in Japan, where she was a recipient of consecutive academic scholarships from the Japanese Government.
