Pippa Stacey is a writer, blogger, and communications consultant working primarily in the charity sector. She lives with a chronic illness called ME/CFS, and much of her work is centred around inclusive education and employment for people with long-term illnesses. In 2020 she released her debut non-fiction book, University And Chronic Illness: A Survival Guide, based on her personal experiences of chronic illness in higher education.
Besides this, Pippa also curates her own blog, Life Of Pippa, with a community of over 18,000 people across platforms. She also works as an influencer through her thriving social media presence, and has a particular interest in the value of disabled influencers in the mainstream media.
Her other specialisms include accessible theatre, books and reading, invisible illnesses, and changing the narrative about long-term health conditions - instead of having to 'defy' or 'overcome' a long-term illness, she believes it's all about living your best life alongside your condition, and redefining what success really looks like.
