I trained in agriculture and alternative land use at Seale Hayne Agricultural College.
After college I worked for an estate agents in the rental department and married a farmer.
For 10 years I raised 3 children, had my own sheep and did the farm accounts. We converted part of our farm into a Golfcourse in 1990. My Mother in law was the first secretary, my husband the course manager.
From 2000-2015 I worked for the Citizens Advice Bureau part time and from 2007 I worked at the golf club part time.
In 2015 I completed a social media marketing course with Digital Mums and since then have overseen the marketing for the Golfcourse.
Owning a family run business has several challenges and advantages- it’s a question of keeping the plates spinning.
