Vicky has worked in factual TV for more than twenty years. She was responsible for the phenomenon that was Big Fat Gypsy Weddings, launching the first series on Channel 4. She also developed and launched C4’s The Undateables, still a hugely successful series today. She has a notable list of popular factual credits behind her, including both series and one-off documentaries Vicky is a passionate advocate of diversity inclusion and has a long history of making programming about or including people with disabilities, from The Undateables and C4’s Home Free, to many shows with Adam Pearson, including C4’s Tricks of the Restaurant Trade where she secured him his first presenting gig which had nothing to do with his disability. Vicky’s most recent position was Head of Factual at Primal Media and prior to that she was at Betty for six years as Head of Docs. Her background is in docs, popular factual series and factual entertainment formats, with a strong track record in developing, pitching and winning business, plus exec’ing. She now runs SliderTV, a global TV consultancy offering exec support, troubleshooting, training and creative strategy. Vicky is married with three kids and runs her local synagogue in her spare time.
