Yos Clark was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. A dancer, model and photographer, Yos taught himself to dance through watching videos on YouTube, before being discovered by French ballet teacher Michele Darcy who offered him lessons on Skype.
Within 18 months, Yos was already performing in the Ivory Coast and Ghana, but he attracted great acclaim when he reached the semi-finals of Africa’s Got Talent in 2016, being the only ballet dancer in the competition.
He then garnered the attention of British ambassador to the Cote d’Ivoire, Mrs Josephine Gauld, who made it her mission to find a scholarship for Yos to study dance in the UK. He began his training at KS Dance in Warrington in September 2018. Yos has since been featured on the BBC, as well as becoming an international model, made a campaign for LeFlow Paris 2019 and took part in London Fashion Week SS2020 for OnOff London.
He has been featured on the BBC, as well as taking part in the SS2020 London Fashion Week last year.
He is available to comment on dance, Ivory Coast and Africa, as well as being an accomplished photographer.
